At the heart of the CT-X5000 is its AiX Sound Source, standing for 'Acoustic Intelligence Expression' the AiX brain gives the 5000's vast range of tones and rhythms unparalleled authenticity and richness. Each acoustic instrument sounds balanced, clean and superbly realistic thanks to Casio's advanced technology, with AiX your artistic expression is brought to life. Customise your tones even further by applying any of the 5000's 100 onboard DSP effects, experiment with Delays, Reverbs, Chorus', 10 equalizer presets and more.

The CT-X5000 has an array of 61 touch sensitive keys, each key responds to your natural dynamics and subtle nuances to deliver a well-rounded organic sound when playing. Adjacent to the keys is a classic pitch wheel that works especially well with the 5000's built-in woodwind and stringed instrument tones.

There are a vast number of voices to choose from when playing the CT-X5000, the 800 unique tones found onboard cover a huge range of instruments including pianos, keys, strings, woodwind, percussion and sound effects amongst many others. The CT-X5000's rhythms vary in style, bpm and instrumentation, the result is a huge bank of 260 orchestrated accompaniment stylesto elevate your performance. From Rock & Roll to Latin, Funk, EDM and beyond, there is beat to cater to your style. Furthermore, the CT-X5000 gives you the option to create and customise your own sound pallet with the 'Tones & Rhythm Editor'. 

When creating your own tones and rhythms on the 5000, everything can be saved and easily recalled with the Phrase Recorder, every stored phrase can be triggered via any one of the assigned 4 phrase pads found just above the keys. Record and arrange your whole performances thanks to an onboard 17-track song sequencer and 42 channel mixer, editing tools include event insert, copy and delete, quantize note locator and a step recording function.

The CT-X5000 includes USB Wave player capability, allowing you to play a range of your own sounds by simply connecting a flash drive. A stereo line output, included expression pedal and microphone input make the CT-X5000 perfect for live performances. The 5000 can run on batteries for outdoor use or on the included AC adapter. 

The CT-x5000's speakers are the largest of the CT-X models, dual 15W bass-reflex loudspeakers provide crystal clear highs and warm bassy low frequencies, ideal for performances without the necessity of further amplification. 

The CT-X5000 may pack a huge punch in terms of its onboard tech, but it still only weighs in at 7KG (without batteries), making it highly portable and ideal on the road. With its vast array of features, high-quality instrument replication and built-in DSP processing and mixing, the CT-X5000 is more than just a keyboard.
